Perseids meteor shower

Getting in at 3.30 AM after a cold night of trying to capture a star that literally shoots across the sky. unsuccessful to the camera, success to the eye. the most amazing sight, gazing up, looking into the Milky way, when a 'fire bolt' crosses the path and leaves a train like a jet on a summer day. What a wonderful experience, midnight excitement.
